OK...Let me start out by saying....Ralph, I hate you....LOL.. But this is what I found for you.....Per the Bureau of Labor Statistics...there are 210,700 career EMT's and Paramedics in jobs in the US(2008) 45% employed by ambulance services, 29% employed by local Governments, 20% Employed by hospitals and shows a growth rate of 9%.....Now according to the National Association Of EMT's...it shows the the total number of EMT's to be 840,669 with 15,276 agencies and 48,384 ambulances...they list percentages of care providers at 38% Career and 22% Volunteer(weird numbers..?)....1st Responders make up 11%...EMT B make up 53%...EMT I make up 9%...EMT P make up 41%..and RN's make up 8%....There Ralph I hope this makes you happy.......LOL...Well with the 2 little projects I did it is very obvious there is one hell of a lot of us out there doing what we do....and I would like to personally thanks each and every one of you out there.....well done Brothers and Sisters.......Paul
Ralph my Boy....1st Let me get you straight....Yes, I am an RN (work both ER and Burn ICU) BUT, I am also a medic/Firefighter with a Vollie Department...so I get the best of all three worlds...and hey...as far as your desription of RN's....I don't have a desk....so there!!!!!! LOL

and yeah, I see your point - I spent a lot of time screwing around lately - and play here to blow of steam and reduce some stress in my life - mostly through laughter - it's working
I know....been there....done that...........Its nice to get things going every once in a while.....LOL 8) Bedise sleep is way over rated.....LOL (but I do have the weekend off from work...so only calls and riding the bike this weekend)
