DOVER, Del. - Fire officials say a man set a house on fire after ordering three children into their bedrooms.

Twenty-four-year-old Keenan Alston of Dover has been charged with arson, reckless endangering and other offenses. He is being held after failing to post cash bail.

The State Fire Marshal's Office says Alston set the fire Thursday afternoon, then his estranged wife arrived home. Smoke detector alarms alerted her to the fire. The wife got the children out safely, called 911 and extinguished the blaze. No one was hurt.

Alston remained at the scene and was arrested by deputy state fire marshals.
