A Friend of a son of one of my firefighters is soon to be taking a written exam called the CWH. He showed me the "study guide" and then told me that from what he heard about the test that the sudy guide was worthless. It looks and sounds as if it is some type of written with a big psych or personality profile section added.
Does anybody have a direction I can send this guy in to get some decent study material for this test?
The CWH written test is a broad measure of intellectual, personal and emotional skills and abilities that are required for successful job performance in today's fire service.
Do I have to have any fire service related training?
The CWH test does NOT require any prior knowledge or specific firefighting knowledge or training in order to take this test.
Here's a link from Rio Hondo Fire Academy (who uses the CWH Exam) that will get you started...
