Coverage Area

Hey All...Just wanted to try something a little different...and yes, I may use the results for a paper that I am writting for a class. I would like to know your coverage area.....Square miles....# of blocks...however you descibe the area that you are responsible for in Fire/EMS coverage. I know this will vary greatly as does the number of calls responding to each year...For example....I am in a small rural Department 44 members...we average 1.4 calls per day over the course of the year.....our coverage area is 218 square miles....Thanks....stay safe...Keep the Faith...........Paul

29 square miles of Oakland Twp. Venango Co.,PA.
20 or so active members-all volunteer
around 175 calls a year
approx. 1500 residents
all rural,no hydrants
