(AP) CLEVELAND

Police briefly evacuated a Cleveland neighborhood after finding explosives in a graffiti-covered garage.

Cleveland's bomb squad and a fire crew responded late Thursday morning when police found the explosives while investigating a graffiti complaint. Investigators believe the materials included dynamite. They were destroyed outdoors in a controlled fire.

Four blocks around the garage were evacuated. A daycare center with 34 children and eight adults also was evacuated. By late afternoon, most of the area was cleared for return.
