My boyfriend has been hired through Wackenhut for contract firefighting over in Iraq. I'm pretty sure he will be leaving in August of 2009. Does anyone have any insight to offer? Wackenhut is very vague, we don't really have a lot of details aside from what they are going to pay him and when he leaves. What is the travel like, how long is the plane ride. What is it like once he arrives in Badgdad as far as traveling to the base is concerned - we've heard this is the most dangerous part. We aren't sure yet where he will be stationed. I am just looking for more details. If anyone has been there and can offer me anymore information like, what a typical day is like over there, that would be so helpful. Thanks!!
