Change: Good and Bad

I've been doing this since 1968 and have seen so many changes in the technology and operations. Most of these changes have been for the good and some not so good. In your time in the fire service, what change in technology or operations has been good and which has had a negative impact on operations? There are many, so only give one of each.

the good: all the new technology like new and improve bunker gear. also the thermal imaging camera. and new s.c.b.a. with 45 minutes bottles ect.

The Bad: remembering they are just tools to help us. Now that we can go deeper into the fire. We must rely on our training and experience. Also don't forget your basic's they go along way.
