BRENTWOOD, N.H. - New Hampshire firefighters are trying to determine what started a fire in a bed at a Brentwood nursing home.

No one was injured in the fire at the Rockingham County Nursing Home on Monday night; a few people were treated for smoke inhalation and released.

Brentwood Fire Chief Kevin Lemoine says one of the residents fell asleep in a chair and somehow his bed caught fire.

The fire was confined to the mattress. Lemoine says some residents were temporarily removed from their rooms nearby, but no one was evacuated from the building.

There was some smoke on the first floor.
