1 I would have all my gear on and SCBA.
2 Put water in the hole that was opened up.

Sure was a good thing that somebody moved that one probie with the pants and station shoes on out of the small lake of flaming gas he was standing in. No it wasn't pretty by any standards. Good trainong video to show why you must train. Thank the lucky stars it wasn't an auto extrication

well obviously they need lessons in wearing gear but nothing wrong with using a saw if you use it right the guy in the white helmet did attempt to open from inside. It didnt work the guy peeled the corner put the hose in there then either use the saw with a nice inverted v and cut it all the way thru the hood or use a combi tool if you got one. we have used a battery operated combi tool several times on hoods works great. the other thing is if your not using foam should always pull a dry chem just in case the fuel line lets go. just my two cents worth .

Matthew....Might want to sweep the ground first with the handline....get that flammable shit away from you before you go in and try and hit it hard....

C'mon Paul! Do ya' worry about that shit when going interior? Hell no! Just get in there amonst the flames, feel the heat, burn the ears- man up will ya??!! If it's not burning ya', then you're not a REAL firefighter.... (Now where's that sarcastic smiley emoticon?)
