CAMDEN, N.J. - A house fire in Camden was finally placed under control after about two hours of intense flames.


It happened on Cherry Street just after 7 p.m. Monday night.

A firefighter was injured during the fight. He was wheeled away by an ambulance crew on a stretcher, but his injuries didn't appear to be life-threatening.

No word on what caused the fire or if there was anyone inside the home.
