BODEGA, Calif. - Officials say a firefighter has been injured in a Northern California blaze that has destroyed two vehicles and one outbuilding.

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said early Sunday that the firefighter was in critical but stable condition at a Bay Area hospital.

About 300 firefighters from CalFire, Sonoma County and a number of local fire departments are battling the blaze. Authorities say it sparked Saturday afternoon, and had threatened homes and the town of Bodegay.

It was reported at 89 acres late Saturday and 90 percent contained.
