(AP) OKLAHOMA CITY

An Iowa Tribe firefighter who was seriously burned while fighting a wildfire in April has gone home after two months and two days in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Sixty-year-old David Milby was burned over 26 percent of his body and had second- and third-degree burns to his face, arms and back.

He was released from the hospital Thursday.

Milby was burned near Wellston when he and partner Jeff Bayhylle became stuck in a field and were trapped by flames that blew over them in their brush rig.

Bayhylle was treated and released from the hospital that day.
