BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fire crews were on the scene of a raging house fire, in Buffalo.
The two-alarm blaze was on Clarence Avenue, near East Amherst Street.
The fire was in a vacant home, and spread to two neighboring homes.
Everyone made it out of the houses safely, but a firefighter suffered a back injury while battling the blaze.
Firefighters say it was a difficult fire to battle because there are so many power lines and wires around the houses.
A next-door neighbor to the house said, "I was getting up, I got up to go to the ladies room and all of the sudden I heard a siren going on so I say, 'oh that's just the cops going by.' And then I heard somebody banging on the door saying 'get out, get out of the house.' So I ran to my front door."
The neighbor continued, "I didn't see no flames, I seen all the fire trucks and said, 'oh my God, get me out of this house.' And all of the sudden I run down the stairs and then all of the sudden the house next door to me was on fire. And I said 'oh no,' and saw the flames going into my house, my TV room."
There is no word yet on a cause.
The fire is currently under investigation.
