BOULDER, Colo. - Firefighters who battled Colorado's most destructive fire in history are getting a big thanks Sunday in Boulder, where a parade was planned to thank people who battled the blaze west of town that started Labor Day weekend.

The Fourmile Canyon fire destroyed 169 homes, making it the most destructive in state history. No lives were lost.

The Boulder parade includes firefighters, sheriff and police officers, plus volunteers, evacuees and city officials.

Next month, a benefit concert is planned in Broomfield to raise money for fire victims. The Camera newspaper reports that musicians at the Fourmile Canyon Revival Oct. 9 at the 1stBank Center include Phish and Yonder Mountain String Band.
