I was curious if anyone out there has had experience be it through their department, or personal life, as a child safety seat technician.  I have heard of some departments offering services installing and checking car seats.  I am very interested in becoming one, but am not certain as to what exactly is the leading reputable certification source.  I have seen a few institutions online, but would prefer to stick with an organization that most fire service folks use/accept.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
