On Feb 21 Shreveport Fire Dept. Bat. Chief Tommy Adams fell 12-15 feet from the top of a ladder truck during a Mardi Gras parade Chief Adams broke his neck. He has had surgery to repair the damage but remains in a coma. He was moved from Shreveport to an agressive rehab in Atlanta, Ga. His wife Traci is as strong as they come and is by his side. Traci said Tommy loves t-shirts and has asked anyone to send a t-shirt from thier dept or agency in any fire or ems. She wants him to see the support when he wakes up. T-shirts or patches would be great. The address is listed below. Thanks for the support. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. They have also started a fund raiser for his family. They are puttong together a cookbook of firehouse recipes. If interested in addind a recipe to the book e-mail me and I will send you the form. You can also purchase one for $12.
