Arson Determined In Vacant Oklahoma Mall Fires
MIDWEST CITY, Okla. - Fire investigators in Midwest City say fires inside the vacant Heritage Park Mall are believed to be arson.
Fire Marshal Jerry Lojka (LOY'-kuh) said several fires were intentionally set inside the former A to Z store about 7 a.m. Thursday and were extinguished by about 8 a.m. No injuries are reported.
Officials did not immediately have an estimate of the damage to the mall.
The mall has been closed for about two years.
