Extend the Line
Preconnects are common on most engine company apparatus and come in varying lengths. Unfortunately if the stretch estimate is wrong, or not done at all, the preconnect becomes useless.
Using your current hosebed arrangement, how would you extend each preconnect by two lengths (100'), as if you were operating at a fire?
What addresses exist in your response area that require you to extend a preconnect, or use a leader line?
