the reason im asking is because i need to know everything about Seattle because im going to be moving out of my perants place as soon as turn 18 which is in about a year and im kinda conrened. i currently recide in southern CA, and im getting some fire explorer experince here but once i go up there thats all i will have.

i got some questions about how stuff is ran up there.
1)when trying to become a career firefighters, do they require you to attend a fire academy? and if they do is there one in the city?
2)is the hiring process slow, fast or steady?
3)do any of the stations require you to be a volly for a certain number of years?
