Another ST. Louis Firefighter Shot

Another deep tragedy has hit the ST. Louis Fire Dept. again. This time a off duty ST. Louis Firefighter was shot in his home. Firefighter Ernest Strong a member of the 8th District ST. Louis Fire Dept. of the Airport was coming home from a lunch date with his wife. While returning home he noticed a strange car in his yard. As Firefighter Strong enter his home to see what was going on he was shot four times by three men whom were robbing his home. Lets take time to pray for Strong and his family, as he is in critical condition at a ST. Louis Hospital.

We have to worry about scene safety when we respond. It really sucks when we have to worry about it in our own homes. I will pray for you Brother.

RIP Brother. What kind of world is this. When we not only have to worry about scene safety, we have to worry about going home. I pray for his family and fellow brothers and sisters.
