I know in the state of tennessee a ambulance can not be remounted more then 3 times. All our rigs in my county get remouned once to twice before we sell them. Then we get a new one to replace them.
Thanks Joe, I will see what Oregon DHS requires.
Hey, check this site out for a used ambulance
used pumper fire trucks

They are really good people to work with. our dept just bought a refurbed 97 Rural Pumper Tanker. Our department just worked with this company and got a great deal.
We are in the third year of a four-year project to replace or remount our entire ambulance fleet. We have 10 ambulances. We replaced our two Wheeled Coach/Ford reserves with two new Frazer/Chevy units.

We have remounted 5 of our 8 Frazer/Chevy units on new chassis, with 3 additional remounts coming up in the next budget year. If you don't know what to look for, you can't tell the remounts from the new units.

Another look at our new ambulance livery. Can you tell which ones are new and which ones are remounts?
