Today We help with the funeral of Stephen Mayhle . And as we shut down our side of a road and his faimly drove by I found my self feeling a bit empty inside. Police, EMT, Firemen. We all do a job where you just dont know what is going to happen to you. We all do the same job payed or vol.

I cant help to think about what my own wife feels or thinks as i go out on the early am calls. And a hope to god she dont have to ever hear that knock at the door. And I pray that I am not the one that has to sit and tell a faimly member that it all went bad.

To the Police and EMT , Firefighters.

Be Safe out their.

it is a sobering thought to all of us to think of our own mortality and the dangers that we face. Just another reason why practice and training are so important to us.
