GADSDEN, Ala. - A 47-year-old Gadsden man who was pulled from a burning house has died in a hospital.
Assistant Fire Marshal Jason Talton says Robert Davis was removed from the house early Sunday by firefighters, who used a thermal imaging camera to find him.
Talton says Davis, who had disabilities, had crawled into a corner and had covered himself with blankets. Firefighters got him out of the house through the bedroom window.
Talton says Davis was taken to UAB hospital with third-degree burns over 50 percent of his body and died on Monday.
Talton says there were no smoke detectors in the house.
