LOS ANGELES - A fire has broken out at a Los Angeles home reportedly belonging to actor Alex Pettyfer.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott says the fire was reported at about 5:40 p.m Thursday at the home on Beverly Drive. He says arriving firefighters reported flames in a detached garage.
KCAL-TV reports the home belongs to Pettyfer and broke out shortly before the premiere of the actor's new film "Beastly" at The Grove in Los Angeles.
KCAL says Pettyfer, who co-stars with Vanessa Hudgens in the film, walked the red carpet, did interviews and introduced the film at the premiere but left after a short time.
Firefighters had the fire out in about 20 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Pettyfer's publicist could not immediately be reached for comment.
