Hey guys, I'm about to apply for my first job as a FF/EMT. I'm looking for some input from some of you guys that may have been on a hiring comitee before and know what to look for. I'm 19y/o and I'm almost finished with medic class (march good lord willing) I am not ff1 or ff2 certified however I'm hazmat ops and 400 level certified here in Kentucky. I've had about 1.5 years expierence EMS wise at a very busy service and I have about 3 years expierence (including junior fireman) at a not so busy vollie dept. So if there's any insight I could gather from here or tips for the hiring process please fill me in.
