Proper placement of fire tent shelters
Does anyone out there know if there are any regulations that govern the correct attachment of a fire tent shelter to your belt or webbing. ie horizontal or vertical

You can wear the shelter either way so long as you have quick and easy access. For those driving heavy equipment there is a chest mount method. Never have the shelter opening down or to the rear, you will lose it or it becomes very hard to get out. Below link is the fire shelter training manual.
