i have the fire cam 1080p if you go to my profile i have a recent video of a smoke invest.
I love it only bad thing is that if you turn it on to play you have to physically press the button to stop recording or it wont save that video.....learned the hard way by having it first time on with a fully involved 3 story beach front house
I have OREGON SCIENTIFIC ATC-2000 ACTION VIDEO CAMERA, and it is fine in the daylight, but poor in the dark or during transitions. I lost a lot of good interior attack training pictures due to it. However, it handles the heat well; used it in a flashover simulator this past April with no problems, only got a few good pics, but that was due to a mounting issue. I found that no matter what cam you have, rethink how your helmet rests after having a hood and mask on. What I thought was good position ended up being the ceiling due to position. Best position for me is hanging down of the the helmet almost nose level, when you think about it after everything goes on for interior it ends up working at eye level, but then you get a little bit of the mask in it. Going with a fire cam after income tax.
