What do you buy for your husband on your 2nd wedding anniversary?

John and I were married on July 1, 06. Last year he went all out with dinner, 144 different color roses and a 1 night stay at a hotel. This year he is doing dinner and on July 3rd a cruise. I need some opinions on how to top what I gave him last year, I gave him a card, loving and a gift I can't remember giving him.

I assume John is a firefighter? Does he collect anything fire related? If so you could get him something from eBay or look in antique stores for fire related items. That's what my wife does for me. Happy anniversary and stay safe!

Thank you Brian, but no he's not a firefighter, he's an ex-paramedic that was injured in the line of duty back in 1998.

Most second anniversary gifts (using tradition here) are cotton based. (clothing) The modern idea is China but that seems a little over the top. http://marriage.about.com/cs/anniversaries/a/wedannivideas.htm
