Hey everyone, Please keep all NC Forest Firefighters in your prayers. We have been fighting a wildfire since Sunday that today has grown to 9,500 acres. It has forced evacuations and a drain on personnel. More info can be seen here along with some video.

Well just to keep you all up to date. Fire has now grown to approximately 13,500 acres. Containment issues are a problem because of strong winds and very hot and dry conditions. It's taking a toll on our firefighters. It's becoming very dangerous to make direct attacks on the fire so they are going ahead of it and trying to make a stand. So far no lives or structures lost which is GREAT news. Just two heat-related injuries but nothing serious. More resources are on the way from all over the state. It's going to be a long and weary road to the finish!
