If you step into any fire house around the country and ask them what they consider to be one of thier largest concers it always seems to be lack of in house training or lack of training offered outside of the department either by your local fire academy or private company. Last year in an effort to better serve the needs of NH Volunteer Fire Departments I sent out a two page training survey asking what the training needs were and what types of both fire and ems training topics fire and ems squads would like to see offered locally. I am the founder of a company called Fire Service Educators and I am looking to make it easier for firefighters to receive training by bringing it to them instead of needing to travel to the state academy to receive it. With the survey I included a postage paid pre addressed envelope to fill out and return it to me. I sent out 300 and only received five responses. I currently looking to bring back the Meadowood County Fire Training Facility to what it used to be, But i can not do it alone. If there is anyone that has ideas of what classes you would like to see offered, or if there are instructors out there that would like to come and teach for a weekend in NH with new ideas or new classes you would like to run. I am asking for help. The fall fire school runs September 27th & 28th. I am looking for any and all Fire, EMS, or Hazamt training topics. Let me know if anyone can help with thoughts or ideas.
