We are a volunteer fire department covering East Stroudsburg, PA. In our town, we cover Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg University & a couple of senior citizen/nursing homes. The total area we cover is 2.4 square miles with hydrants. We run a lot of mutual aid with oujr neighboring company, Stroudsburg Fire Department. We have a 2000 gpm 2000 Americn LaFrance Eagle Pumper, a 1250 gpm 1982 KME Firecat Pumper, a 1997 Freightliner/EVi Heavy Rescue & a 1987 KME Aerialcat/Spartan 92' Tower Ladder. We usually have between 300 to 350 calls a year on the average. There are about 35 active members on the rolls. We do not run EMS, but have a couple EMTs for when we do vehicle rescue to do patient care until we get them out of the vehicles. You can check out the department on our website.
