I am sorry but just last night at the fire hall we were discussing how politics was being brought in. From a first hand experience when we allow politics to come into to play then we tend to forget the fact that it is about saving lives. KFC could just as easily recieve recognition if they donated money to establish or fix hydrants. Or better yet donate smoke alarms or extinguisher's to the elderly and underincome. Lord knows with the economy we definitely have a lot of under income. Also if the are really interested in getting some press action donate to local schools for fire prevention and education.
