Anyone using the Code 3D simulation software. I got it earlier in the week and have been having a ball with it!

I've set up a truck vs train (With HAZMAT), also a car fire in a fuel station and this morning I've been duplicating our local shopping complex/town centre to run scenarios in...

From what I have seen, Version 2 is about the same as the Beta. I haven't seen anything different. Of course, I got my beta the day before the new version was fully released.
Version 2.0 is very similar to the beta, but we did make a few changes. There are several additional art objects. You can now upload scenes directly from Code3D to the Code3D.com community. We also fixed all of the known bugs that were discovered during the beta period.

If you need to optimize your scenarios so they'll run better on your computer, use buildings from the "buildings - background" category in the background of your environment. The more things you put into a scene, the slower your scenario will run. Background buildings appear “blurry” up close because they are in a lower resolution.

The more hazards you put into the scene, the slower it will run, it is better to put one big section of smoke than five smaller sections.

If you are still having difficulty running a full scenario of Code3D on your computer’s graphics card, you should try opening the program in low resolution mode. This version requires a less powerful graphics card. To do this, go to Start – Programs – Sim Ops – Code3D – Low Resolution.
I have not used this SIM software, but I have developed a series of SIMS myself. They are structural fire Incident Command Simulators. You have complete control as the IC. I also have some Virtual Pump Panel simulators. Take a look and let me know what you think. There are free versions on the site that you can play online right now.
