Whoaaa...easy.....I assume it was just a joke....A lot of people who read what you wrote(including me) thought the same thing I bet, because of the way it was written, he just had the gonads to say it. Just let it roll. Need a sense of humor in this trade.

Have you considered stopping by the firehouse and see what they have to say? Check out your area's website?

You mean you honestly had no idea what he was TRYING to say? I'm not sticking up for him by any means, because I, too, feel he was way outa line with his attack on you, BUT....apparently he gets offensive too ( not to be confused with offended) when someone disses him by insinuating that he is gay. Sure...he over-reacted, but wouldn't you have something to say if the same was said to you? So no need to execute the guy for sticking up for himself. He's still an American....he's still a firefighter. So is English the only language of America? I haven't seen that in the history books. Might have to do some researching. I understand your pride in your country and who you are, but offensive as it was to say what you did, it was still ugly.....this whole discussion is ugly. One race....one language...sounds kinda familiar :(

thanks Jeff, I didn't know about the different clubs. I wanna look into that more....for my own sake. And I agree ..there ARE ways to properly go about things and what he did was totally wrong in all ways.....I was just saying that maybe that is the only way he knew how to address the subject.
