One firefighter is dead and others are injured after a blaze in Upper Chichester, Delaware County.

The two-alarm fire was on the 100 block of Moser Street.

One firefighter was taken away in an ambulance, he later died. Other firefighters are being treated on the scene for heat exhaustion.

The Public Safety Director of Lower Chichester has identified the firefighter as Nicholas Picozzi, Jr. He died at 10:30 am this morning at Chester Crozier medical Center. Picozzi, a volunteer with Lower Chichester Fire Co. and was the son of volunteer firefighters.
