Polishing up brass nozzles

I have a couple of old brass nozzles that I would like to polish to put out in my office/family room area. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use? They are not badly tarnished, just need some TLC to look pretty. Is it worth the effort to do it on my own or should I pay somone with a power buffer to do it? Also, how would I keep them from tarnishing again? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stay Safe and Buckle Up!!

i have used never dull for this very purpose you can find it at your local parts store or hardware store

Nevel Dull is the best for shining up copper, brass and chrome. To avoid it from tarnishing once it is clean, wipe all the dirt and grime off it. Do not touch the metal and then keep it dry. The chemicals on your hands (enzymes etc) cause the tarnishing as well as moisture causes corrosion. Use medical rubber gloves and have a few pairs. Use 1 to apply the never dull and buff, and then switch to a clean pair for wiping off/final handling. Brasso works, but never dull has it's own cloth to use inside etc

Thanks for the replies! I'll give the Never Dull a shot. I've used Brasso in the military but found the shine never lasted long and always had to re apply to keep it shiny.
