Hello folks. I was doing some investigating the other day and happened across a website that offers an inscentive program for Junior Members.

The Website is nvfc.org

This website has a method of counting all your volunteer hours (calls, trainings, meetings, and other firehouse activities) towards a yearly balance that can net you certificates, tshirts (all free), and other awards including college scholarships. It is WELL WORTH your time to go to the site, and do a little of your own investigating. All too often Juniors are not rewarded enough for all they do for the fire service, and this seems like just the program to pick up the slack for what we can't do or are not doing for the Juniors. Again the address is nvfc.org

Happy Reading, and Be Safe!!

Resurfacing this so more can benefit from the post.
thanks, i am a junior and we dont get enough credit for all the things we do on and off of the fire scene
We have talked about a junior program before, this is just the info ive been looking for thank you!!
your quite welcome. You will be amazed at the support the community will show when you coincide your junior program with their business names. Market the juniors as community leaders. Clean up small parks as a group, plant flowers together for community sites. Market your program, and the rewards of more fruitful membership will prevail.
What a great idea!
