We have 21 SOG's and writen SOP's

Most cover what apparatus respond for a given alarm and how to get there - no speeding, proper dress (shirts and shoes required) common sense stuff that shouldn't have to be repeated but nevertheless does. When to use the air horn (or more so when not to).

One that cover who is in charge if there is no officer.

A radio procedure that has been issued by the county that isn't followed (it could be said that the dispatchers enable it).

Some of what others might have as SOP's we cover in our bylaws.
yeah we have to go over ares all the time cause some ppl just dont listen..
Please remember that there is a difference between SOG's and SOP's even though some people use the terms interchangeably.

SOG = Standard Operating Guideline = What you should do.

SOP= Standard Operating Procedure = What you must do.
I have attached a copy of our department SOG's/SOP's
