We had one at our state fire school awhile back. It was a trip going thru it. Really made a person think about what he has to do to get through certain situations.
i have never heard of a maze trailer what is it
I'm in the same boat as you Justin, Roger do you have a link to one or a picture?
it's a series of tunnels with different obstacles such as wire and holes in floor, narrow craw spaces ect. everything you might get into in a fire. Your mask is blacked out no light.I'll try to upload some videos at our next training to post.
o yes it does did that trailer have one story or two
wow i wish our dept had one that would be some good training thanks for the reply Roger

Yeah they are an amazing tool to us should be a mandatory thing for training
I have been in two of them. Both were 2 levels. They are great!
wow thats neat that would be some good training
there was one at our station that was really neat. they had inserts that would change the shape of the opening. they also had doors that the instructors could swing open and closed to change the course up. ours was 2 floors as well. i think the neatest thing was a confined "tunnel" that you actually had to take you BA pack off and push it in front of you. then you had to put it back on before you could complete the maze. those things are no joke when you're wearing gloves!
