Just wondering what everyones opinion is on brush trucks. Which is better dually or single wheel rear axle? Our dept. debated this and decided on single wheel rear axle.

single axle its easier to manuever around in the woods and thats where most of these trucks spend there time gettin abused and beaten around

Here's ours. 2003 Ford F350. It replaced a 1969 Dodge!
If you got lots o sand a 6X6 is the only way to go! As long as you drive modestly off road Duallys and single axles have almost no difference. That said I wish tire manufacturers would make a single tire with good traction and the weight carrying capability of duals.
Make sure to have decent clearance between truck and ground, we regreted that little oversite. (8 inches)
