im currently witting a final about emotions in ems, for my emergency medical services class. i know very little about it. im still in high school and college. i was wondering if anyone could tell me what is some of the hardest stuff to deal with, calls and emotions. and does it ever just build up after awhile?

i hate it when someone calls YOU at 4am, then doesn't want to give you any information and treats you as if you're intruding on them. had a woman who called us because she was EXTEMELY intoxicated and said she took some pills. when we had to take her because she was SO intoxicated and possibly indanger with the pills, she started getting aggressive and crying and cussing at us.
and love it when you run on a person who's not breathing because they overdosed, hit them with narcan, and they come up trying to kill you cuz you took away their high. don't even bother trying to explain that if you didn't they'd be dead right now cuz they're too busy trying to shank you and bail out of the ambulance.
