When there is a accident invloving a family member of a firefighter on Your dept. do you think somebody should contact that firefighter to let him/her know about it if they aint on the accident. Well it happen to me nobody called me and everybody knows my number of my cell and my work place at the time it happen. i Had a brother drown on Degray Lake in Arkansas Dec. 30, 2007. The way i found out was A buddy of mine called me at work and told me the bad news that the fire dept and dive teams were searching for the body of my brother. that was 2 hours after the tone of a near by fire dept. and then my fire dept. was toned out to help them in the search. im not my at my family members for not letting me know.
