IMHO, politics has no place in EMS. Most politicians only look out for their own best interests under the pretext of helping their constituants, whereas EMS is here to help regardless of who you are or what you believe in. As EMS workers, we have no hidden agendas.

everything and I mean everything is political. It is just hte way things are.
You politic for a job, a promotion, a date, everything.
It's just how things are done.
Your union is a political org. really...think about it. Its all about debating with management to get things you want and avoid things you dont. But it is all up for debate.
A stewert has things that the members are willing to give up to get their points. Management is the same. Its all a game...
