12 hour shifts

Does anybody use a 12 hour shift for a Career Fire Department. We use a 24/48 schedule as of now. I need an example of the 12 hour shift schedule.

Greenville, SC uses a rotation of two 12-hour days, two 12-hour nights, and two off with three shifts.

Baltimore city dose 2 10hr days 2 14hr nights 4 days off
