1044 vs. 660C Metro

Ok there is a big debate in my dept over switching from the 1044 to the 660 Now no-one except a few people are happy with this. I would like to get peoples experiences with both of them as well as any facts people might have to prove one is "safer" or "better" then the other.

It's i guess all in the wording Jack on how it is takin.I personally do not care what helmet model I wear obviously because I haven't a clue what I do have right now but there is a bunch of guys around here getting that Eagle thing on them and to me yes I could see that being an entanglement issue but I guess that is simply a fashion statement and conversation piece for the wearer.Hear though the eagle bucket comes out of your own pocket.
Someday jack we will be on each others Friend list until then I'll be watchin you Buddy!!! ;0) I'll have to keep you in line!!!

thanks Richard, I have emailed MSA Cairns and asked the same question... all I got back was they both meet NFPA standards... no suprise there. so I went further and found who they use for the independent testing.. And I then sent another email to a diffrent party within MSA/Cairns and asked for the independent test results... will I get them probably not... Did I try... YES.
