The Sassamansville Fire Company, in cooperation with the Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Company, will be hosting a fundraising event to assist the Patt Family on December 11th, 2010 at the Wingman Bar & Grill.

On Veterans’ Day morning, just before 8:00 AM, the Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Company, along with several other companies from the surrounding area to include Berks county, was dispatched to the scene of a well-involved house fire. Upon arrival, we discovered that the home was the family of one of our own, Firefighter Chuck Patt.

• The Wingman will donate $1 per customer during the event
• The Wingman staff will be actively seeking additional donations from its customers
• $2 Miller aluminum can Special during the event
• Live Entertainment starting at 9:15PM

Chuck has faithfully served Douglas Township and its surrounding communities with 10 years of service to the Gilbertsville Fire & Rescue Company. PLEASE come out and support his family! No matter the patch on our shoulders, the badge on our chest or even the uniform that we wear... ALL firefighters are FAMILY!
