Event Description

The Association of Amputee Surfers (www.ampsurf.org) will be hosting Operation Restoration V Surf Clinic for disabled surfers from Sept. 10-16, 2010 in Pismo Beach, California.

This organization was started to allow disabled veterans and others to learn to surf and enjoy the benefits of the ocean.

The director has asked me to approach the fire service world to extend an invitation to any disabled/injured firefighters to attend.

If you are a disabled firefighter or know of anyone who is who might be interested in learning to surf, this is a great opportunity. Please pass this information along.

Other than transportation, participants fees and lodging can be provided by Ampsurf.
