This comprehensive and intensive multi-day training program is designed to train representatives of Public Safety and Rescue Agencies (Fire, Rescue, EMS, and Law Enforcement) as Water Rescue Instructors. Upon successful completion of the Academy, these representatives are then authorized to conduct Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician level courses, as well as Swiftwater Rescue Technician courses, on behalf of their agencies. The Academy is conducted Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon. Tuition includes all books and materials, lodging and meals for the 4 days. For more information, access the Lifesaving Resources' website at www.lifesaving.com. Lifesaving Resources is dedicated to drowning and aquatic injury prevention and emergency management. To date, Lifesaving Resources has trained and authorized over 300 instructors throughout the United States and Canada. Lifesaving Resources also conducts Ice Rescue Technician Courses, as well as an annual Ice Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy.
