The Fire Officer II course is a delivery in partnership with Haywood Community College and the North Carolina Department of Insurance, Office of the State Fire Marshal. The eight week course is designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 1021 for the Fire Officer II level. Topics include: General, Human Resource Management, Community and Government Relations, Administration, Inspection and Investigation, Emergency Services Delivery, and Health and Safety. Course is free to N.C. resident firefighters, $60.00 for firefighters outside of the state.
