On Memorial Day, May 26th, 2008 the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department, Incorporated will celebrate 13 years of 100% volunteer service to the Greater Landover Community. On this day a function will be held at Company 33 (as in years past). All are invited to attend and all ages are welcome. There will be music, food, drinks and an amusement area for the kids. The fun starts at 12 noon and goes until.

Also on this day, a celebration to commemorate "33" active years of service will be held for life member and past Deputy Fire Chief Tommy Gibson. Tommy joined Company 33 in 1975 and has been around several times a week since. To this day he still is a regular icon around the house.
